INSTITUTO CAMPANA AND PROJETO ARRASTAO
The Project Arrastão and the Instituto Campana started a partnership in 2015, after a visit and lecture by Humberto Campana in the headquarters of Arrastão in Campo Limpo. That same year, Humberto conducted a workshop with Arrastão youngsters to stimulate creativity in the production of objects contemplating recycling, transformation and reinvention. The material used were pairs of jeans given to Arrastão by a fashion company. During the workshop the youngsters developed a few paths using jeans in furniture and objects. Fernando and Humberto made a curatorship of the works and improved the objects for over a year. The result of the work were the collections: BlackPower (bench), MultiPocket (high stool, low stool and table cloth), Estrela (Star – cushion).
