INSTITUTO CAMPANA AND ORIENTAVIDA

The NGO Orientavida has developed the project “Income Generation” 18 years ago to provide education, professional training, insertion and retention of vulnerable women in the market place through handicraft. Seven years ago the project established a partnership with Instituto Campana, supported by Fernando and Humberto, to develop products for commercialization. Among the products there are cards and embroidery made by the interns of the Female Penitentiary of Tremembé, based on a drawing by the Campana brothers; and crocodile and teddy bears sewn by artisans from Vale do Paraíba, which are also used in the designers furniture collection named Banquete. Both artisan productions are held in the state of São Paulo.
