Instituto Campana also conducts specific projects in partnership with national and foreign institutions, companies, organizations and public and private entities. The objective is to foster social intervention through a design perspective – as an extension of renowned projects or as new challenges.
In 2018, the Institute launched the project “Mãos em Ação”(Hands in Action) in partnership with the stores Ôda Design Club in Curitiba and Dpot in São Paulo. The initiative counts on the sales of products of three projects guided by the Campana Brothers in collaboration with the Institute and some NGOs. In the same year the Institute had a stand for the first time in the Design Show MADE – Mercado Arte Design and had its premiere at the Design Week in São Paulo, with the collaboration of the Australian cosmetics brand Aesop and MADE. The Institute prepared a workshop helped by the NGO Aliança da Misericórdia from Piracicaba with the participation of Fernando Campana at the Vila Madalena store. The designer taught the participants to produce vases and fruit bowls of the collection Tijolo (Bric), as well as to create a special installation for the storefront.
