Description

Sale of the book on the 35-year career of the Campana Brothers. The book “Irmãos Campana: 35 Revoluções” portrays the occupation of brothers Fernando and Humberto Campana at the Museum of Modern Art in Rio de Janeiro (MAM RIO), curated by Francesca Alfano Miglietti, inaugurated in March 2020, which is the largest exhibition already made by the duo in their 35 years of trajectory. Bringing together new projects and installations, the site-specific exhibition displays a wide selection of design pieces and sculptures developed over the past decades. The book not only celebrates the longevity of the duo but also invites curators, journalists, gallery owners, and artists to contribute with essays and reflections on the trajectory of the brothers and their role on the world stage in the field of design and contemporary art.

With texts and interviews by Francesca Alfano Miglietti and collaborations by Adriana Calcanhotto, Anne-France Berthelon, Cristina Morozzi, Damiano Gullì, Emanuela Nobile Mino, Maria Cristina Didero, Mateo Kries, Stefano Boeri, among others, and exclusive photographs by Bob Wolfenson.

The exhibition continues until 10/01/2021.
